The FGCK Alumni Foundation has officially launched as a community owned movement to rebuild, fund and steward the school for the generations still to come.
Formed by alumni across more than four decades of graduating classes, the Foundation exists to put the school on a permanent financial and institutional footing, independent of any single benefactor or administration.
Why now
Years of deferred maintenance, an ageing power supply and rising enrolment have combined to stretch the school beyond what year to year fundraising can carry. The Foundation was created to replace ad hoc appeals with a durable endowment, transparent governance and a published plan.
Membership is open to every alumnus and alumna of the school. Governance sits with an independent Board of Trustees, and every project the Foundation funds will be published with its budget and its outcome.
